Small Business Lending Improvement Act of 2005

Senator Olympia J. Snowe (R-ME), Chair, Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, introduced the Small Business Lending Improvement Act of 2005 on July 29th. The bill directs the SBA to establish a National PLP program, increase the maximum 7(a) loan size to $3 million, increase the FY 2006 authorization level to $18 billion, and require the use of alternative size standards.
